Ryan’s IGA

About us

Ryans IGA started in 1979 serving the community of Ballarat North and has grown to 6 Supermarkets and 2 Liquor Stores now serving Western Victoria. We pride ourselves on being part of the local communities we operate in and offering our customers the choice of supporting local business and our local suppliers.

We tailor our stores and range to give customers more of what they like. This includes many of your favourite brands like the ones you may no longer find on shelves in other supermarkets.

We proudly support local and Australian producers too by stocking a wide range of locally made products. We have an emphasis on healthy and speciality foods including gluten free, organic, vegan and vegetarian foods as well as the freshest Meat, Produce and Deli items.

We are also proud of the great team we have ready to serve you every time you visit. They are part of the local community.

OUR DEPARTMENTS

Quality Produce

In our Produce department you can count on a great variety of colourful, fresh fruit and vegetables that reflect the best of what the season has to offer.

Meat

Our butchers prepare our Meat fresh every day in Ryan’s IGA Ballarat using locally sourced products. We love preparing our Meats by hand ready for your dinner table.

Wellness

We stock over 3,000 gluten free, organic, wellness, vegan and vegetarian products from local suppliers and around the world. We can cater for all your dietary needs. If you can’t find something, request it and we’ll do our best to locate it for you.

Liquor

We stock an extensive range of local and national wine, beer and spirits. We have friendly experts in our liquor departments that can pass on their knowledge about food and wine pairings, flavours as well as advice on ordering for your next party.

COMMUNITY REWARDS

Through our Community Rewards Program we raised well over $1m to help the local community.

Money is raised by customers spending $20 instore and receiving a token for every $20 they spend. Tokens are then put into the donation box of the customers choice. Each store has several donation boxes for various charities that can receive donations. Money is then donated to charities on an annual basis.
